Personal evangelism is still the most effective approach to propagating the gospel. We have TV, radio, internet, and printed page. Yet the vast majority of people around the world come to Christ because of personal contact with another believer. Everyday, one-on-one evangelism is still the #1 strategy for evangelism.
But, the average Christian does not participate. There are many reasons for this. One of them happens to be lack of knowledge and coaching. Christians would witness if they knew what to say and how to say it. They would evangelize if there was someone who would show them how. So one solution for lack of evangelism is training.
Biblical Ministries Worldwide has a training system called “Fostering The Harvest.” It is designed to be used in a small group, home Bible study, or Sunday school class. There is a 20-minute presentation on DVD of each chapter and then a facilitator can lead the group in discussion and application.
Here is a short video clip that advertises Fostering: https://vimeo.com/55126211.
