There are some people like that… they have the knack of walking up to anyone and starting a conversation. They just seem to know the right thing to say. They are uninhibited and will talk to any stranger anywhere. These kinds of people are “wired” for evangelism.
The opposite extreme is the introverts. They have to force themselves to speak. They find it easy to ignore people… to walk past them… to say nothing. When meeting a stranger, they struggle to find anything meaningful to say. They find trite comments… well, trite. It seems so childish to say the obvious. They look with envy at the extrovert, especially when it comes to evangelism.
But… the introvert doesn’t get a “pass” on evangelism because personality. There are three things to do:
1. Have a list of questions memorized to ask a stranger.
2. Embrace the verse: “he that has friends must show himself friendly”
3. Just do it.
