The color spectrum is comprised of electromagnetic waves which, because of their specific individual wavelengths, are visible to the human eye as the range of colors found in the rainbow.  The mandate given to the Church by the risen Lord, popularly referred to as the “Great Commission”, is like the color spectrum in that it is comprised of a variety of different elements (colors) which make up the whole.  The contributing authors found in this blog are members of IFCA International.  Their objective is to engage the readers in thoughtful consideration and discussion on the “wavelengths” of those various elements in order to ”fine-tune” the Church’s perceptions of, and involvement in, the biblical Great Commission.   IFCA International believes that the strength of the Church can be enhanced by equipping for and encouraging toward ministry partnerships to achieve Great Commission objectives.  That is our purpose, and “Wavelengths” plays a role in helping us to fulfill that purpose.
